1. The city centre studio cluster — Rothschild, Nachalat Binyamin and around
The densest concentration of studios, and the easiest to reach from anywhere.
The middle of Tel Aviv — the streets around Rothschild Boulevard, Nachalat Binyamin and Allenby — holds the highest concentration of yoga studios in the city, mostly small independent operations on upper floors of old buildings.
This is where the widest range of styles and timetables is, and where a visitor is most likely to find a class at a convenient hour without planning around it.
Because the studios are small, the classes are small, which means teachers adjust and correct properly rather than leading from a podium.
Good to know: Message ahead and ask whether the class will run in English — most teachers will accommodate.
